Red Ribbon Week 2014

I "mustache" you to say "NO" to drugs!  Red Ribbon Week is a nationally recognized week aimed at drug prevention.  There will be a special movie presentation for K-5th grade, an all-school assembly, a buddy activity, and a movie presentation for 6th-8th grade.  The special movie presentation 6th-8th grade will view is Live Long and Prosper presented by the 3 Screens Production.  There will be follow-up discussion in Guidance class.  

Richmond Career Conference/ Registration Assistance Event

The 8th Grade Richmond Career Conference/Registration Assistance Night originally planned for Tuesday, January 28th 5-7pm has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 29th 5-7pm at Richmond School.  Please read the below letter for more information. We hope to see you there!

8th Grade AHS Dates

On Wednesday, January 15th, AHS counselors will speak to the Richmond 8th grade students in the LMC from approximately 8:15-9:00 am.  They plan on distributing materials to the 8th graders.  The presentation is geared toward the students, but parents can attend if they wish.  Please check out the file below for a letter that AHS will be mailing to all 8th grade students soon.  This letter includes important AHS freshmen orientation dates. 

EXPLORE® Results Have Arrived!

The 8th Grade EXPLORE® test results have arrived!  We are excited that we are able to hold this meeting before Thanksgiving and upcoming AHS meetings.  There will be an EXPLORE® results informational meeting from 5:00-6:00 pm in the LMC on Tuesday, November 19th.  During this meeting Mrs. Feiker and Mrs. Held will explain the results, hand out student results, inform families of important AHS dates, and answer questions.  If you are unable to attend this meeting, EXPLORE® results will be mailed home later in the week.  Families are more than welcome to set up a meeting to discuss any questions or concerns.

Honors Information for Future AHS 9th Grade Students

Hello 8th grade students and parents! An email including the letter below will go home to all 8th grade parents on Friday, November 1st.  This letter details future AHS meetings that will cover various 9th grade course options at Arrowhead High School.  Please read over the letter for specific information.  Mrs. Donna Held (Gifted & Talented Coordinator) and I will continue to keep you updated on any new information.  Information about 9th grade registration will be disseminated as it is given to us.  Check back for more updates in the future about assistance provided here at Richmond for future 9th grade registration.
