File Cabinet Pages
This page is an example of a "file cabinet." Scroll down to the bottom and take a look. When you create a new page for your Google Site, you can choose a number of different page types, depending on what type of content will be on the page. File cabinet pages let you store and organize files from your computer’s hard drive, making it an easy way to share files with other users of your site, like your students or their parents. Anyone subscribed to the page will receive an email each time the site or page is updated, someone makes a comment on the site or page, or someone uploads an attachment to the site or page. Think about it – you add "Unit 6 Lecture Notes" to your file cabinet, and seconds later anyone subscribed to the page will get an email telling them that you've added it. Pretty cool.
Below are some files I've attached just as an example of what a file cabinet page looks like. Feel free to download anything you want to use on your own site. I've made a number of .png Viking "V" logos in a variety of sizes and color combinations that look great on websites. There is also a cleaned up .jpg version of the school crest and viking beside shield graphic.
