Technology in Richland Two

1TWO1 in Richland Two

A steering committee to study 1:1 computing came together in January of 2010 to begin exploring the possibility of expanding 1:1 computing to all schools throughout the district.  Careful planning, site visits, research, and committee work preceded the request for funding the infrastructure project.

As we move forward, we have benefited from a rich history of innovative technology in Richland Two.  From our early Classroom of the Future to our iTEC classrooms (Integrating Technology to Enhance Curriculum) and our current iPAC program, we have explored the possibilities of 1:1 computing in many of our schools throughout the district.

We are proud to have been selected as a Project RED Signature District. We are receiving project management support from the Project RED team and are benefiting from
 sharing with other signature districts.

We have also been selected as a member of the Digital Promise League of Innovative Schools!
