New vSmith Workspace Portal has launched

The Office of Smith IT is pleased to report that we are launching a new version of the vSmith Workspace Portal used by our community to find and launch vSmith apps and desktops. The new and old version will run side by side, so click the link for the version that you would like to use.

The new portal is sleeker, allows you to bookmark and build a catalog of just the applications you use, making it easier and quicker to get to the apps and desktops you need. In a few weeks we will remove the old portal and point the normal launch URL of workspace.rhsmith.umd.edu directly to the new portal.

If you find that there is an app that is missing in one version that you see in the other, please submit a ticket to the Smith IT Service Desk via helpme@rhsmith.umd.edu and give your name, Directory ID and the which app you see in which portal so we can add to the other.
