You access your Smoogle account with your Smith email address and a Google password that you set. This is true no matter how you are accessing your account, whether on the web, on a mobile device such as an iPhone or an email client like Thunderbird or Outlook.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have just set up your Directory ID for the first time and changed your Directory ID, it may take up to 6 hours before that new Directory ID is updated in all systems. If you have just changed your Directory ID and cannot login to the reset site, please allow six hours for the new ID to be registered and then try again.

Setting a password for your Google account is very simple. Go to http://reset.rhsmith.umd.edu and log in with your Directory ID and password.
