ALL STUDENTS: A REMINDER ABOUT BOOK ASSIGNMENTS

You are responsible to complete this long-term assignment. You will, most likely, have at least one class period (per page) to work on this assignment, but that is not a guarantee if you are absent, for example. You may have time to work on book pages if you finish classwork earlier than other students. You may also come during advisory, intervention lab 8th period, make arrangements to stay after school, and, of course, sign out an instruction booklet and work on pages at home.

You are not to complete the entire book up front but are to pace yourself, completing each page as it is due. This is an important skill. If you finish pages earlier than their due dates you may continue to work on the next pages. (Note: Generally, a page is due every 7 to 10 days. During this time period you should spend 45 minutes to an hour on this assignment. That's about 6 minutes a day.) All pages will be collected again for assessment on the entire book assignment at the end of the quarter. This includes book pages not completed or turned in on time when they were originally due as homework. This means you need to complete all pages whether you turned them in for homework or not. Note: Any or all pages may be reworked or completely redone for the final book assessment.
