Mr. Bryan Jaeckel
Bryan Jaeckel, native of Waunakee, WI, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. While at Eau Claire, he studied conducting with Dr. Richard Mark Heidel, and French Horn with Andy Parks. Mr. Jaeckel was a member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps and served on the staff of the Capital Sound Drum and Bugle Corps for a short time. He currently shares conducting duties for all three concert ensembles and also directs the Marching Band, and the Ellington Jazz Ensemble. Mr. Jaeckel enjoys spending time with his wife Jill and his two beautiful children, Benjamin and Abigail! In his spare time, he enjoys cheering on the Packers, playing Fantasy Football, and photography.

Mr. Joe Coughlin
Mr. Coughlin was born in Illinois and raised in Chippewa Falls, WI. After a year of attending UW-Plattville in the engineering program, he came to his senses and transferred into music education at UW-Eau Claire. He recognizes Mr. Doug Greenhalgh, former Chippewa Falls band director, as being his inspiration to teach music. River Falls High School is Mr. C’s first teaching job, starting in the 2002-2003 school year. Mr. Coughlin is currently directing the Wildcat Marching Band, Concert Band, Wind Symphony, Basie Jazz Ensemble, Goodman Jazz Ensemble, and Pep Band. When he’s not in the band room, Mr. C may also be found teaching his Hwa Rang Do martial arts club, playing Ultimate Frisbee, or gigging. He is a saxophone player, enjoying the twin cities music scene by playing in different funk, soul, jazz, and rock groups. Mr. Coughlin is married to Math/Physics teacher Mrs. Molly Coughlin at RFHS and they have two boys, Eli and Ezra.
