"As a Catholic School community, we believe that through modeling kindness, forgiveness and compassion, we can make a difference in God's world. We believe all children should feel safe, loved and inspired throughout their academic and spiritual journey to be passionate learners and live Christ-centered lives."

Your child recently brought home the RBS Kindness Coin Challenge! They are to hand out one coin per month to someone outside the RBS community that is demonstrating kindness. Please hand out the coin with your child. Go to Facebook &/or Twitter and write a post, with or without a photo using the hashtag #RBSKindnessCoinChallenge saying when, where and why you handed it out. Each month, all the posts go into a drawing for a special prize. (www.facebook.com/revbrownschool or www.twitter.com/revbrownschool)  Thank you and have fun spreading the kindness!

Summer will be here before you know it! Plan ahead and sign your child up for one (or more!) of our RBS Summer S.T.E.A.M. weeks! Keep minds active! The children had such a fun time last year!

Monetary donations are now being accepted to help sponsor the Scanlin Evangelical School in Liberia, Africa. This is our 4th year of being involved in Mary's Meals. Our school goal this year is $2,000. The students saw a video presentation as Mrs. Masone spoke about helping others less fortunate. Students are encouraged to help with chores around the house to earn money and then to donate it to Mary's Meals. Each classroom has a collection container. When students put money or coins into the container, they are given a heart to write their name on. This is placed on a bulletin board in our school hallway. UPDATE as of May 11..... we surpassed our goal!!!! Thank you everyone!!!

Thank you for your continued support of our local food pantries. Every month, each class is given a specific food or non-food items to donate. We are collecting pasta sauce/tomato sauce for April/May.

Check out the RBS website....there are lots of things going on at our school!

RBS is a NUT FREE school! Please double check all ingredient labels...even if it's processed in a facility that may have had peanuts. We'd rather be safe than sorry!

Boys do not need to wear a tie or a belt (a bathroom calamity in the making!)

Girls should wear bike shorts under their jumpers ( for when we sit criss-cross applesauce or hang upside down on playground equipment! )

All students should wear tie or velcro shoes, no slip-ons.
