Welcome to 2B!
Dear Families,
Congratulations to our 1st Communicants!
During this week, students will be taking the NWEA Map test. Please make sure your child has a good night's sleep, a good breakfast, and arrives at school on time. Thank you for your help in setting up your children for success!
This Friday, May 10th is our May Crowning. Students are asked to bring in a flower to help honor Mary during this special prayer service.
This week, we are spelling words with the vowel teams ou & ow. We are finishing our reading module with the theme of weather. We are practicing identifying and using text features, asking questions, and applying a variety of comprehension strategies. We are working with poetry. In math, we are working with geometry and fraction skills. As always, we are working on fact fluency. We working on a collaborative research project.
Thank you for your continued support! - Mrs. Masone
