Welcome to the 3rd trimester:

Grades 5A & 5B:
3/9 & 3/10: Complete the worksheet on -IR verbs. Study the conjugation charts on -AR, -ER, & -IR verbs.
3/15 & 3/16: Complete exercises C & D on the verb worksheet & study verb conjugations for the -ar verb quiz after break.
3/16: 5B should complete the -ar verb word find that they created in class. 
3/16: 5A & 5B need to study for the -ar verb conjugation quiz after break.
4/5: 5A will take their -ar verb quiz on 4/6. Review ex. C on the study guide used in class.
4/6: 5B will take their -ar verb quiz on 4/7. Review ex. C on the study guide we used in class. 
4/12: 5A will complete the -ar verb packet from class & color page 2.
4/13: 5A will complete the labels for "Partes del cuerpo".
4/13: 5B will complete the -ar verb packet from class & color page 2.
4/14: 5B will complete the labels for "Partes del cuerpo".
4/27: 5A complete your "Values" packet. Be sure to complete the last page with your super hero.
4/27: 5B complete the last activity on "Tener" in your Dr. Frankenpiedra packet.

Grades 6A & 6B:
3/3-3/4: Study the location preposition definitions. The homework sheet on true/false in the classroom is an excellent study guide.
3/10 (6A): Complete the verb review worksheet in class. Take home prepositions quiz for a parent signature if your grade was a D or an E.  Turn in during am homeroom on 6/11.  
3/10 & 3/11: Bring in final room paragraph, if you did not already submit it.
3/15 & 3/18: Complete "Que hacemos en casa?" (Ex. B) & study verb conjugations.
3/18: 6A & 6B: Write 6 sentences about chores that you & your family do around your house.
(Both classes must turn in on 3/21.)
Due to the schedule changes there will not be any homework during standardized testing.
4/11 & 4/12: 6A & 6B will complete "Los mandatos"(The commands) worksheet.
4/14 & 4/15: 6A & 6B should study the rules about changing verbs into the command form. The assessment will be on 4/18 & 4/19. A word bank with the verb spellings will be provided.
4/26: 6A should write their 6 sentences with the direct object pronouns from class.


Grades 7A & 7B:
3/8 & 3/10: Review Family vocabulary with the buscapalabras & English definitions. Practice family relationships with "de".
3/15 & 3/17: Complete the worksheet with the questions about the family tree. You must answer in complete sentences & spell the ages, in Spanish, of the family members.
Due to the schedule changes there will not be any homework during standardized testing.
4/11: 7B will create a family tree rough draft visual with Spanish labels. 4/12: 7B will write 2 rough drafts of one male & one female paragraph. 7B family tree visuals are due 4/18.
4/14: 7A will create a family tree rough draft visual with Spanish labels. 4/15: 7A will write 2 rough drafts of one male & one female paragraph. 7A family tree visuals are due 4/21.
4/18: 7B will write the final drafts of their 2 family paragraphs-due 4/19.
4/21: 7A will write the final drafts of their 2 family paragraphs-due 4/22.

Grades 8A & 8B:
3/9-3/11: The past tense with the Preterite was introduced.  Complete the Preterite chart worksheet (even #s only). 
3/14: Complete the worksheet on the preterite tense for the -ar verbs only! Start studying the preterite tense of -ar verbs.
3/16 & 3/18: Complete "El preterito" (Ex. A, B, C).  Answer exercise C in the preterite "YO" form.
Due to the schedule changes there will not be any homework during standardized testing.
4/11: 8A & 8B should review the study guide note-taking sheet on the Preterit tense. This sheet of paper can be used on "El Preterito" quiz. 
4/13: 8B will take the Preterit tense quiz & turn in their study guides.
4/15: 8A will take the Preterit tense quiz & turn in their study guides."
4/13: 8B will complete "Estructura 1" (Exercises A, B, & C).
4/15: 8A will complete "Estructura 1" (Exercises A, B, & C).
