2012 NAHB New American Home
ResConServ was responsible for managing all of the green project administration for the 2012 NAHB IBS New American Home.  Architect and Builder, Phil Kean pursued the top performance standards from the three major green organizations, plus additional energy and conservation certifications. Typically, the process of organizing all of the requirements and documentation for any green home can be daunting. In this case, the multiple standards and coordination with a national team presented an opportunity that was challenging and rewarding.

Drew Smith with Two Trails Green Consulting provided the services of the Green Rater. They were responsible for verifying the implementation of the home's green products and systems and obtaining the certification from each of the agencies.

The New American Home is constructed annually in conjunction with the NAHB International Builders’ Show to showcase innovative construction technologies and the latest building products. NAHB will held the 2012 International Builders’ Show in Orlando Feb. 8-11, 2012.
