Reremoana School is a growing Y0–8 decile 9 school in the friendly community of Wattle Downs. We seek a passionate, dynamic and flexible teacher with a ‘can do’ attitude, to join our genuinely supportive and collaborative team. An understanding of Innovative Learning Pedagogy and the ability or interest to work within an ILE  within years 3-6 would be advantageous. Beginning teachers welcome to apply. An understanding of Innovative Learning Pedagogy, the ability or interest to work within an ILE, and interest/experience with play based learning would be advantageous. Learning Assistant

We are on the look out for a warm, friendly Learning Assistant, male or female, to work at our school. We seek someone with an affinity and love for children, especially those with challenging learning and/or behaviours.

The position is fixed term until the end of the 2018 school year as funding for the position is generated by grants for individual students.

The successful applicant would be working with a range of students, mainly in the middle/senior end of the school. 

Roles include:

  • In class support for both learning and behaviour
  • Break time supervision of individual students and/or organising/running games and activities for groups of students at break times.

Hours and start dates are negotiable for the right applicant or applicants.

Successful applicants must agree to a mandatory police check.

Remuneration will be in line with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement, and will be set in accordance with the successful applicant’s relevant training and experience.

We offer a significant ‘induction programme’ for teachers joining our staff, and our existing team go out of their way to support new teachers.
