Reremoana School is a growing Y0–8 decile 9 school in the friendly community of Wattle Downs. We seek passionate, dynamic and flexible teachers with a ‘can do’ attitude, to join our genuinely supportive and collaborative team. An understanding of Innovative Learning Pedagogy and the ability or interest to work within an ILE would be advantageous. A fixed term management unit related to our strategic goals is available to the right applicant.

Learning Assistant

28 hrs p.w. Fixed Term 

Job share considered

We require a warm, friendly, confident person with good oral communication skills and initiative, to work with individuals and/or small groups of children with learning and/or behavioural needs up to Year 8. An ability to relate well to Maori and/or Pasifika students is an advantage. Further information and an application form can be downloaded from our website www.reremoana.school.nz - Vacancies

Applicants are asked to complete an application form, (see below) and submit a letter outlining their suitability for the above position. A brief CV summarising relevant qualifications and experience, and the names and contact details of three people prepared to act as referees, are also required.

This fixed term position will begin at a date negotiated with the successful applicant.

The position is fixed term until the end of 2017, due to the position being funded from outside agencies which have a limited timeframe.

Remuneration will be in line with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement, and will be set in accordance with the successful applicant’s relevant training and experience. Further details can be found via the link http://www.nzei.org.nz/AgreementDoc/SUPP.pdf 

The successful applicant will be required to agree to a Police Vet.
