Bonjour tout le monde. It's been a busy week!
Math - We are still working with multiplication and division. Our next unit will begin the first week of March and we will be         learning about fractions.
Français - We are learning about "hamburger" paragraphs and writing about how we feel about winter.
English - We are putting our finishing touches on our Three Billy Goats Gruff adaptations.
Étude Sociale - We are learning about the First Nations People of Alberta.
Science - We will be having fun next week building simple machines with Lego.
Art - Our digital collages are turning out to be quite interesting.
Health - We focused quite a bit on kindness and caring for others.

1. I have noticed that a few students are needing extra snacks in their lunches as compared to the beginning of the year. It might be due to a growth spurt and/or playing outside in colder weather. Please discuss this with them and help them pack their lunches accordingly.

2. We do play outside everyday, make sure they are ready for the elements with warm clothing.

3. As it is mid-year, some students are needing extra and new materials such as duotangs, pencils, scissors, glue sticks and crayons. Please ask your children what they require. Also, make sure they have a pair of headsets and a mouse to facilitate working on chrome books.
