Welcome to our Grade 5 class website!

We have already been very busy in the classroom - refreshing our French language skills, polishing our work habits, and piquing our curiosity for the learning that's coming up this year.  I hope you find this website useful and please don't hesitate to let me know if there is something you would like to see added here.

Thanks so much!

PS I'll be working on this classroom site for the next few weeks, adding in curriculum information, an overview of our year in learning, on-line resources and activities, etc..  Check back soon :-)

Tim Hortons has selected Reading College and the Foundation for Red Deer Public Schools as the recipient of money raised through the Smile Cookie Campaign that runs from September 16-22. Reading College makes a real difference for 60 grade 2 students who are identified as struggling readers. For the month of July, students are immersed in a literacy rich environment where they receive support to develop their literacy skills and become excited to read and write. Literacy really is the foundation for all learning…Soon learning to read becomes reading to learn.
Please help us spread the word to friends, families and other contacts you have and encourage them to buy a Smile Cookie and support Reading College.
