What does Going G.L.O.B.A.L. mean?

Rutherford County Schools is Going G.L.O.B.A.L., which stands for Growing Learning Opportunities Beyond All Limits. A key component to this project is a 1:1 laptop initiative, in which every teacher AND student in grades 6-12 will receive their own laptop computer that they will use, both at school and at home, every day throughout the school year. This page contains valuable information for parents, students, and teachers for the goals, plans, and utilization strategies in our ambitious effort to allow RCS students to compete in a global community. Please re-visit this section often to learn more about the Going G.L.O.B.A.L. project.

What is the G.L.O.B.A.L. Technology Club?

The G.L.O.B.A.L. Technology Club is an after school program for students in the elementary grades to receive additional enrichment and instruction using MacBooks and iPads to collaborate and create digital products.  These opportunities will help students prepare for middle and high school projects.
