Welcome to my new webpage!
For new and current students, this webpage provides a resource where you can find information related to the classes and programs with which I am involved. If you can not find the information you need at this site, please feel free to contact me.
I started at BCC in January 2002 after a short stint in the environmental consulting business. My position at BCC allows me to oversee the curriculum and resources associated with the Physical Science and Geography courses.
My position at BCC also allows me to develop and oversee the Geospatial Technology program. This program introduces students to the realm of geographic data collection and representation. This includes the function and application of tools that allow for the interaction with geographic data, such as geographic information systems (GIS), the global positioning system (GPS), and remote sensing. Our program, the first in the state of New Jersey, teaches students how to use these tools and how they can be applied to address real-world problems and issues.
I believe the world is a amazing and beautiful place and I greatly enjoy bringing the wonders of the world to my students.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions related to my classes or the Geospatial Technology program.
