by William Shakespeare
adapted by Brandon Langeland

As originally written by William Shakespeare, Troilus and Cressida is set during a deadlocked war between Troy and Greece. Star-crossed lovers Troilus and Cressida struggle to come to terms with their relationship in the war-torn city of Troy. When Cressida is sent to the Greek camp as a prisoner, a troubled love story is brutally cut short and subsumed by the grim reality of war. It explores exalted themes such as honor and duty, heroism, and courage. But The Troilus and Cressida Project, as adapted by Brandon Langeland, has an edgy, modern, fast-paced exhibition of found-weapon combat set to modern music.
