Academics

The Rochester College music department offers training for students interested in pursuing careers in music as well as a general musical education for all students. Students have many opportunities for study, including:

- Bachelor of arts or science in music
- Bachelor of arts in music education
- Bachelor of arts in interdisciplinary studies or the humanities with a concentration in music
- Minor in music as part of any other bachelor’s degree at RC.

Graduates of the department have gone on to complete graduate degrees in private and public institutions, and have enjoyed succes­sful careers as performers and teachers.
