In an effort to serve you better and improve communication, your message will be printed and provided to the appropriate service person as the work order.  They see how you are describing the problem in your own words.

UTILITIES:  Remember to make arrangements for your utilities service at least two business days prior to your move-in date.

To arrange for your ELECTRIC SERVICE, please visit http://www.como.gov/Finance/Utilities/,  then click the button that says START, TRANSFER OR DISCONNECT SERVICE ONLINE.  You can also visit the City of Columbia office in person.  It is located at 701 E. Broadway (bring 2 forms of ID and copy of signed lease).  New customers will no longer be accepted over the phone.  You can make arrangements up to 29 days in advance.  Please be sure to call in advance to avoid delays in service.  
 
To arrange for your GAS SERVICE (hot water and heat), please contact Ameren Missouri or call 800-552-7583 at least two business days prior to your move-in date.
