Hello Phoenix Service members!
Catholic Relief Services is once more asking students to assist them with the sorting and unpacking of food products in their local Raleigh food bank.
Many students enjoy these trips and CRS is immensely grateful for our students' assistance with the stocking and organizing of their Raleigh food pantry.
Mr. Slattery's next trip is planned for Wednesday,October 26th from 3:15-5:15 p.m. (but students may leave early if necessary). The address is 2013 North Raleigh Boulevard Raleigh, NC 27604.

We have great success with this drive so far, many of you have helped to bring in Toilet Paper, Tissues, Trash Bags and Paper Towels. We really appreciate it. However we need more. John Schuster, the founder of this drive has some wise words...
"My name is J. Schuster and I’m a junior at Raleigh Charter. I am starting a supply drive to collect donations for the Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina (BCH)—an organization that takes children whose parents are not able to care for them and gives them a good home. I have a very personal connection to this organization because my grandmother lived there for most of her childhood. I have seen the lives of many children changed from the help that is provided to them.
Currently, BCH is in need of some supplies—paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, and garbage bags (small 4 gallon bags and large 32-33 gallon bags), so the goal of my drive is to meet their need for these products. If you would like to donate, please bring in the products and place them in the blue bin under the main stairwell. On behalf of the children at BCH, thank you for your support!"
