How will this be graded?

posted Sep 26, 2011, 6:22 AM by Mr. Tom Demko

CSI will appear as a separate course on your report card.  Each Quarter during Quarters 1-3 you will receive either a “P” for Pass or an “F” for Fail.  Your final project will then be graded by the 5 CSI teachers (Mr. Prodoscimo, Mrs. Mesiano, Mr. Demko, Mr. Evancho, and Mrs. Coffman) based on the rubric we will give you today.  The grade from your project (A, B, C, or D) will appear as your 4th Quarter grade for CSI.  An “F” in any of the first 3 quarters means you are failing to show progress on your project.  This is not a project that can be completed in a rush the night (or even the week or month) before it is due.  If you receive an “F” for any quarter, you will not be able to receive an “A” for the final project.  An “F” in the 4th quarter means you did not turn in a final product.  There is no excuse for any student to fail this project!
