I graduated from Eastern Nazarene College (Boston, MA) with a double major in mathematics and secondary education. At ENC, I participated in three varsity sports and graduated summa cum laude. In 2008, I earned National Board Certification. My Master’s degree (Penn State) in curriculum and instruction was completed in 2009.
My teaching career began at South Western High School where I taught high school math for three years. While there, I advised the Key Club and served at the assistant varsity softball coach.
This year marks my eleventh year at Quaker Valley Middle School. My goal in the classroom is challenge every student while providing a safe and nurturing learning environment where students can achieve success and develop confidence in mathematics and themselves.
