Whats Happening in Science ?

Science Club meets on Tuesdays at lunchtime. Students bring along their lunch if they are wanting to come. Some have activities that they are wanting to do. For example we have the QPS Science Awards where they can work towards an award in a specific area. Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Earth Science and Astronomy are the awards currently on offer. Dave Dubnick has been coming along and taking things apart, like motors, fire extinguishers and golf balls.

The QPS Science Awards can be done at any time. This is voluntary and to be done independent of class work. Students do not have to be in Science Club to participate - see Julie Little if you are interested, or email juliel@queenstown.school.co.nz.
