African Art Cultural Week

Our PTO sponsored the African Art Cultural Week which allowed our students to participate in week long workshops by Crocodile River Music and the African Art Gallery in Clinton.
The week ended with an assembly on Friday afternoon, it was a truly moving experience for our students, staff and families attending.
Pictures from the workshops and assembly can be found under WCES Photos 2015-2016 at the top of this page.

Warren Community Elementary School Art teacher, Ms. Heather Gianfriddo, had her students in Grades 3 through 6 create paintings to promote anti-bullying awareness.

Mr. Barry Seligman, School Adjustment Counselor and the students spent time talking about bullying and chose the phrases which would be used before starting the project.

The 3’ by 5’ paintings are displayed in the first floor hallway.
