What to bring to tennis?
Players should bring their tennis racquet, hat, water bottle and non marking sports shoes.

Parent Involvement
Parents are encouraged to watch however, we do ask that parents do not enter the court unless 
requested by the coach. QTC feels that it is extremely important that only positive reinforcement is 
encouraged at all times by players and spectators.

Public Holidays and Student Free Days
Coaching at the Club: Coaching does not go ahead on public holidays. 
Coaching at schools: No school = no coaching.

Wet Weather Policy

If it is raining or looks like rain, please call QTC on 3214 3800 to find out if your program is going 
ahead. An official decision is made;
  • 30 minutes before coaching programs including schools coaching
  • 60 minutes before fixture programs including Super League
Whilst every step is taken to arrive at the correct decision, please remember we have no control over 
the weather. In the event of a lesson being washed out, please book into one of the make up lessons 
at the QTC.

Make Up Lessons
If your lesson has been cancelled due to a washout, public holiday or student free day, you will be 
contacted within seven (7) days advising of your make-up time via email or sms. For casual absences, we will try and fit you into another class at the same level however this is dependant on available spaces and a make up cannot be guaranteed.

Private Lessons
Private lessons require a minimum cancellation period of 24 hours - Cancellation within this 24 period
or a failure to show for a private lesson will result in the full lesson being charged. Please remember
that our coaches time is valuable.

Direct Debit payment method:
  • Automatic enrolment from term to term - no requirement to re-enrol
  • No transaction fee
  • A minimum of four (4) weeks’ notice must be given via email - (bookings@qldtc.com.au) to cancel your direct debit.
  • Unsuccessful payments will be automatically rescheduled for the following transaction date or as arranged with our administration staff.
  • Ezidebit will charge a rejection fee for all failed direct debits – if your card has expired, been lost, stolen or otherwise please notify the Club immediately to make alternative arrangements and avoid the rejection fee. 
Direct debit

  • Your tennis enrolment will be continuous (from term to term) unless four (4) weeks notice is
    given in writing via email (bookings@qldtc.com.au) to cancel your enrolment and direct debit.

  • Ezidebit transaction charges: $0.66c for bank accounts per transaction or 1.91% (minimum of
    $0.88c) for Visa/MasterCard per transaction.

  • Unsuccessful payments will be automatically rescheduled for the following week unless
    another resolution is reached with The Queensland Tennis Centre.

  • IMPORTANT: Ezidebit will charge a rejection fee for all failed direct debits - if your card has
    expired, been lost, stolen or otherwise please notify the Club immediately to make alternative
    arrangements and avoid the rejection fee.
Consent to use of Imagery
During the course of our Tennis programs some imaging may take place. This is in light of our players’
performances, achievement and participation throughout our award winning programs. Should you not
wish for your child to be a part of this then please put this request in writing to us.

You enter and use the facilities at QTC at your own risk and MWS Sports takes no responsibility of injury or your personal items while onsite. 

While you are at QTC you may be under surveillance via the facilities CCTV network.
