Peter Wolf into the mystic

INTO THE MYSTIC was commissioned by Graeae Theatre Company via Peter's inclusion on the Disabled Writer's Mentoring Scheme; run by Graeae, Writernet and the Soho Theatre. Graeae Artistic Director Jenny Sealey directed and toured the play throughout Britain in 2001, after developing the project in tandem with Mark Ravenhill as Peter's script mentor. The tour included performances at Riverside Studios, Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre, and Warwick Arts Centre.

"Peter Wolf's disturbing new a highly visceral piece, as the phenomenon of the stigmata emerges. Jenny Sealey's production...highlights the bravery of a theatre company that others might do well to emulate. "

"This latter-day passion play...making brilliant use of large scale computer imagery and performances of terrifying power ….not for the squeamish." - WHAT'S ON

 INTO THE MYSTIC features in the 1st anthology of Graeae plays by Aurora Metro Books.

It also features in the academic work Identity, Performance and Technology
edited by Dr Susan Broadhurst and Josephine Machon;
 also Trompe L'oeil, Imitation & Falsification by Philippe Romanski and Aissatou Sy-Wonyu.
