Saturday, Aug. 24, will be the first of three upcoming mandatory testing dates for summer swim lesson registration. This is a friendly reminder that if you would like to sign up for lessons, you can register first online. Please read on for more information:
  • Registration can be made online beginning Aug. 12 at, select “swimming” and register using the appropriate category and session (Adult, Child 3+, or Parent/Child). A 2.49% fee will be applied.
  • Registration will not be complete until your child is tested for swimming ability. This will occur during mandatory testing dates scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 27 , from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Perkiomen Valley High School pool (enter by Door V).
  • During mandatory testing, your child will be evaluated and assigned to a level. Lesson times will also be determined at mandatory testing.
  • When you register online, a receipt will be emailed to you. Please print this and take it with you so you may present it at mandatory testing.
  • If you do not want to pay online, you may pay by check in person during one of the mandatory testing dates.
  • People registering for Adult Swimming Improvement or Parent/Child Swim classes do not need to attend mandatory testing dates. Time slots will be assigned by direct communication with Fran Wieber, Aquatics Director.
  • Lessons will be offered on Saturday mornings between 9 and noon. See our brochure for times and more information.
  • Please remember that you must attend a mandatory testing date in order to start lessons in September.
  • Fall session costs are $75 per swimmer in a group setting; $150 for private lessons.
