Overview of Program

The Wright Design program is a partnership with The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and is an elementary study of design, color, nature and architecture.

Wright Design is an after school program that teaches students about architecture and the environment including weekly live broadcasts with special guests from Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home and studio.

Ever wonder what it might be like to become an architect?

Students participating in Wright Design will learn all about architecture by designing and constructing a desert shelter using post consumable materials. This hands-on project will strengthen STEM basics such as engineering and problem solving skills and help         students express innovation.

Special guests will share personal experiences about life in a shelter during live broadcasts. At the culminating event, students and families will tour featured desert shelters.
