In GenYES there are three grading categories: participation, long-term projects, and short-term assignments. Participation is an important component of this class and involves being on task, doing what is expected, and working well with your peers. Typically, there is no homework in GenYES. However, if you are falling behind on a project/assignment or miss class time you will be expected to work outside of class.
A = 90-100% B=80–89% C=70–79% D=60–69% F=59% or below
Absent students have as many days as absent to make up work for full credit. Late work will receive a 5% deduction daily up to a maximum of 40%.
-This includes being on-task during class, handling "service calls" in a professional manner, and having a positive attitude.
-Large multi-day assignments.
-Small class activities.
