About me

I have been teaching PE for 15 years. This is my 14th year at the Ranch, I had one year in Tempe for my first year of teaching. A very cool fact is that I went to North Ranch as a student for the first 6 years that the school was open. So I opened the school as a student and then came back 20 years later to teach here. I went to ASU and got a degree in Kinesiology. I went back for 2 year's to get my post-bac in Education. I have also earned my Masters in Administration and Leadership from GCU. I have always loved sports and working with kids, so I decided to combined my two favorite things and become a PE teacher. I think that it is so important for kids to start at an early age to get a love for exercise and sports. I want to teach them the importance of having a healthy lifestyle and the benefits of it.

I have been married for 13 years to my wife Jennifer and I have beautiful little daughter named Brooklynn, a son named Cameron, and a daughter named Teagan. In my spare time I enjoyed playing and watching sports. I am also a HUGE movie fan. I love to hang out with my family and friends as much as I can as well. My daughter will be joined the Ranch this year in Kindergarten and she will now follow in her dad and mom's footsteps by starting her educational career at North Ranch.

Favorite Sport- Basketball , baseball, football, hockey (pretty much all of the major sports)

Favorite Hobby- playing with my kids and going to movies
