Welcome to the 6th grade! I'll be teaching writing, social studies, and science this year. Here are a few things parents and students should know to be as successful as possible this year:

Normally students will not have homework. Most of the work is completed in class. We'll be using a new writing program this year called Writing by Design. I'm excited to begin this new program and see some good writing coming from your student this year.

I look forward to working with your student! This will be a wonderful year of growth and maturity. Thank you for your trust!
