Welcome Friends

Pups Without Partners is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit greyhound only adoption program supported by donations from caring individuals. The purpose of our program is to safely guard greyhounds in the racing industry by placing them as pets when their racing career is over.
If you are interested in adopting a greyhound and live in Connecticut in New Haven or Fairfield County, this is the place you're looking for. If you live elsewhere search for a greyhound adoption group in your area. Adoption groups act regionally so they can properly support the hounds they adopt out.

Please Donate!

With the imminent closing of tracks in Florida, the greyhound community is mobilizing to handle the additional influx of hounds that will be forced into retirement in the coming months. That means stocking up on supplies, arranging transportation, preparing for more animals than most adoption groups are set to handle as well as take care of all the dogs currently in the system awaiting their forever homes.
Adoption groups exist solely on donations, so if you would like to help, please donate what you can.

Meet and Greet Our Greyhounds!

Keep watching the Pups page and see who's new!

We have meet and greets, either at local pet stores or a variety of events. So check our calendar on the events page and come meet a greyhound in person! (or would that be "in-dog?")

We're looking for new homes as well as volunteers to foster new hounds until they find their forever homes. Maybe you've been thinking about fostering or finally are in the right situation to get yourself a forever friend. Well now is the time! If you know of anyone interested, please direct them to our site. We're here to support and give guidance to future and current greyhound owners.

Lost Greyhounds

If you ever see a wandering greyhound, call us immediately.
If you ever lose your greyhound, call us immediately.
We know all the adoption groups and will most likely be able to contact the owners
and/or assist in search and rescue.

Remember, keep those hounds leashed!
