I joined NRAO in June as both a Postdoctoral Fellow and Program Director for the PSC. I am interested in studying pulsations of compact objects, specifically white dwarf and neutron stars. Pulsations give us clue to the internal structure and composition of the stars, similarly to the way we use seismology to tell us about the interior of Earth. Generally, I use the optical SOAR telescope in Chile to study white dwarf stars and the Green Bank Telescope to study neutron stars. And, of course, I get to spent time working with all the wonderful students in the PSC!!!!
