Senior Portraits Questions


When are my senior portraits due? All senior portraits should be received by Nov. 3rdThe majority of the senior photos will be taken during one or two "Senior Only" photos in September.  If you missed any of these dates, a makeup date will be scheduled.  Look for announcements in the bulletin.  The yearbook makes every effort to get ALL seniors in the book. 

 

Can I have my senior portrait taken by any photographer?

All senior portraits for the yearbook are taken by Filmworks in Auburn free of charge.  If you are using another photographer for your purchased portraits, you will still need to go to Filmworks for your yearbook photo as Filmworks packages all photos for easy flow into the yearbook.
 

I missed the senior photo shoot at Filmworks during the "Senior Only" dates.   What do I do?

If you missed the first two photo shoots, you will be notified of a makeup date once a list is received of those who still need to take their photo.  This will take place in mid September.
 
How many pictures do I turn in? The yearbook staff only needs one photo per senior.
 

Baby Ad Questions


What is a Baby Ad?

Baby ads are recognition ads that are placed in the back of the yearbook.  They include baby pictures, current photos and comments submitted by family and friends to show how proud they are of their graduate!


How do I purchase a Baby Ad?

If you or your parents would like to order a senior baby ad, send in your photos, comments and payment to Placer High School c/o Yearbook Baby Ad 275 Orange St. Auburn, CA 95603.  Order forms will be mailed by the first week in September.  If you did not receive an order form, they can be download from the Placer High website under the yearbook link or stop by room 306.   Please submit all photos digitally (CD, email, flash drive).  Scanning is available if necessary.  Baby Ads are due by November 3rd at the latest. That will be the last day to turn them in so don’t miss out on your very own Baby Ad.

 

Senior Quote Questions


What about my senior quote? All senior quotes need to be sent in by November 30th. Quotes can be no more than 150 characters and need to be school appropriate! You can submit your senior quote online on the Placer High website.  Go to the yearbook link and click on the "Submit senior quote" link on the top of the page.  If you do not have internet access, submit a written copy to room 306.  Quotes need to be in legible print.

 

Graduation Questions
