Aloha mai kākou...

E Nā Mākua...

  • Wā Hoʻomaha Kupulau!
    Aloha mai Kākou,

    1) Haumana were sent home with a few assignments for the Break.  These assignments should not take more than an hour each day.  A half an hour in the morning and a half an hour in the evening.  Below are the assignments:
    1. Helu o ka lā (number of the day)-
    2. Daily journal 3/20-3/28
    3. Kilo (observe) the po mahina and evening weather
All assignments should be returned on the first day back at school 3/28/17

    2) Yesterday was the last day of the 3rd quarter.  Report cards will be coming home soon.  Please sign and return envelope.

    3) We have been working on our Kilo skills by observing the natural environment in our Mala, categorizing and analyzing the data collected.  Next quarter, we will be using this information to continue strengthening language, math, reading and writing skills while learning about the science around us. Even though, This quarter has been a challenge, we will continue working on becoming better students, and friends to each other.

    4) Lastly, I just wanted to let you all know that during the first 2 weeks of april, I will have a substitute.  I will be on a family trip from april 3 - 13.  I am preparing assignments and homework so that those 9 days go as smooth as possible with little to no change in classroom routines.

    Have a great spring break!
