School begins at 8:00 every day.  Breakfast is served everyday beginning at 7:30. Dismissal is at 2:15 in the front yard near the portables.  If there is inclement weather, parents will come pick up their child in the classroom. If there is ever a change with your child's dismissal procedure, please contact the school.

Students are required to wear the school uniform which consists of navy blue bottom and white top.  

Come to school on Tuesday afternoons for our student led conferences.  This is time for your child to share with you all the fun and exciting things he/she is learning and doing in the classroom.  Student led conferences will be held every Tuesday from 2:20 - 2:50.

All families have received the password to create an account on www.classdojo.com .   Class Dojo is a way for us to stay connected and encourage positive classroom behaviors.

Students can lose DOJO points by...
-Being unprepared
-Being off task
-Missing homework
-Being disrespectful
-Being unkind

2 reading tests are given throughout each reading unit (Week 2 and Week 5).  A study guide will go home each Monday of testing week along with extra practice.

Math Tests are given at the end of each unit.  Students will have a review day in school and a review sheet will go home to study.

Students have a score sheet that goes home.  Please sign and have your child bring the sheet back to school.

Birthday Parties       
If you would like to celebrate your child's birthday in class, please check with me first.  We have a busy schedule and have to fit it in our schedule.  It has to be approved by administration.
Please bring in cupcakes and water.  Goody bags are not allowed.
