I was a young girl, only 11, when I immigrated here.  My mother had come here before me to earn money to send for my grandmother and me.  I worked in a bank for a while as the treasure.  I loved hats, shoes, and ballroom dancing!  I loved to collect shoes and hats and loved to dance.  I also loved to play bridge.  I played every night with my mother, my aunt and uncle, and my cousin after we ate dinner.   I had two children, Donald and Joyce.  I died when I got cancer at the age of 57 in the year of 1969.
