2019 Senior Activities


Thursday, May 9: 1:00 P.M. - Senior meeting in the cafeteria, pick up caps gowns, and go over guidelines for senior activities.

Friday, May 10: Please bring any awards or scholarship letters to the counselors by this date

Sunday, May 12: 2:30 P.M. - Seniors report to First Baptist Church

3:00 P.M - Baccalaureate Service at First Baptist Church, hosted by United (Pryor Youth Ministries)

*Dress code must be met. Seniors will wear caps gowns and proceed in as a group*

Tuesday, May: 14 1:00 P.M. - Practice for Awards Assembly

Wednesday, May 15: 12:45 P.M. - Seniors meet in cafeteria to line up for assembly

1:00 P.M. - Awards Assembly in Auditorium. Parents friends are welcome to attend

*Dress code must be met. Seniors will wear caps gowns and proceed in as a group*

Thursday, May 16: Last day for seniors to attend classes

Friday, May 17: 1:30 P.M. - Practice for graduation at the Burdick Center

7:30 P.M. - Seniors line up for processional at the Burdick Center

8:00 P.M. - Commencement at the Burdick Center

*Dress code must be met. Seniors will wear caps gowns and proceed in as a group*

Friday, June 7: 9:00 A.M – 3:00 P.M. - Starting this day, diplomas will be available

NOTE: In order to participate in the Awards Assembly, you must be present for practice on Tuesday, May 14th.

In order to participate in Commencement, you must be present for practice on Friday, May 17th.


*GIRLS: Wear a dress and dress shoes, (no slacks, leggings, shorts, flip-flops, or tennis shoes).*

*BOYS: Wear dress shirt with collar made for tie, tie, dress slacks (nice solid black or navy jeans are ok), and

dress shoes with socks, or polished boots, (no tennis shoes).*

Seniors should not have any corsages or other decoration on caps or gowns. No chewing gum is allowed.

Boisterous behavior will not be tolerated during the ceremonies. Obviously, a student under the influence of

alcohol or other drugs will lose the right to participate, as will any student who is disruptive. It is the intent of our

faculty, administration and senior class to conduct the traditional ceremony, which we believe is appropriate for

Pryor High School and the community of Pryor. Please contact the office for clarification of any information.
