Domain Overview \ Announcements

The Announcements feature allows administrators to view and create announcements 
to send to students and/or teachers.

Viewing Announcements

Announcements allows you to search for announcements by sender and/or by date.  To begin, enter in a user or 
leave it blank to search all users and then select a date. Next, click Search.

The following information about each announcement will display:
  • Sender: This is the user who sent the announcement
  • Sent to: This is the user who received the announcement
  • Message: The text content of the announcement
  • Viewed: Set to true if the user it was sent to has viewed it
  • Time Sent: The date and time the announcement was sent out

Creating Announcements

To create an announcement to send to teachers and/or students, click Create (plus sign).


You will see the following popup window:

You can can send an announcement to a single student, all teachers, all students, or both.
Select a student or check the corresponding box if you want to send to all teachers and/or students
and enter in the text of the message. Next, click Send.
