Science Lab: Yeast Growing with Survival Needs

Yeast grows typically in a sugary ,warm, wet environment. Students  were challenged to change the typical water or table sugar to a new item to see if the Yeast would flourish. Some succeeded others had results that were a little less than thriving. We learned Survival Needs of things and in a Lab you have controlled variables (air), independent variables (Student Choice), and dependent variables (Yeast) .
