Science Lab: Natural Selection  of Peppered Moths 

Students went to the YAK shak to find their inner bird! We attempted to recreate natural selection in an artificial environment. If we were able to be successful then the students would have collected more white dots on the green paper than the green dots. Students used hole punchers to make 50 green and 50 white dots. They  were given 3, 1 minute, rounds to use tweezers to collect the moths( paper dots) and return them to their nest (paper plate).  They had a partner time them and had to work at the environment with one other group which created a bit of competition.
