Coach Paulson brings experience from all levels to the Premier Fastpitch Organization. From being a former NJCAA Division I player at Lake Land College to coaching Junior Olympic Softball to Junior High and High School Softball, she has experienced it all.

A graduate of Mattoon High School, Coach Paulson went on to play two years at Lake Land College under the former head coach Denny Throneburg. She was a part of the first Laker softball team to reach the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in the 05-06 Season.

After completing her two years at Lake Land College she volunteered as an assistant in the fall/winter season of Laker softball. Coach Paulson continued her education at Eastern Illinois University where she received a Bachelors of Science with a teaching certificate in K-12 Physical Education.

In the summer of 2007, she teamed up with Nic Nelson to coach the Midland Magic 16U. Paulson coached 16U and 18U teams in the Magic Organization, finishing in the top 2 at ASA State 3 out of the 5 years. In her five years of coaching Midland Magic, 29 players went on to play Division I and NJCAA softball.

Paulson also coached at the junior high level in Casey-Westfield for two years until she took the high school girls physical education position at Tuscola High School. Where she was the Head Cross Country Coach and Assistant Softball Coach.

Private pitching and hitting instruction is another passion of Coach Paulson. For many years, She has enjoyed working at the First Class Pitching Camps conducted by Denny Throneberg.
