Halo - Subsidised traps

Our aim is to make Wellington New Zealand’s natural capital by making all back yards into safe havens for native wildlife. We already have a number of wildlife hotspots (like Zealandia, Otari-Wilton Bush and Oruaiti Reserve) and now it is time for us to restore the full dawn chorus (which most New Zealanders have never heard) and see wings over all of Wellington.Along with DOC, Wellington City Council and Greater Wellington, the Morgan Foundation has been working to provide Halo Households with cheap and safe predator traps.

Pinehaven is lucky to have considerable amount of bush in our backyard (literally in many cases) and it wold be great if we could all do our part to help control the introduced predators that are currently taking their toll on our native flora and fauna.
