SAT Prep Course offered at Clarkson University
A six-week SAT Prep Course will be offered at Clarkson University beginning March 25, 2017. The registration deadline is Tuesday, March 21st.
The SAT Prep Course consists of six sessions that focus on evidence-based reading, writing and math. During the first session, students take a pretest and test-taking strategies are discussed. Subsequent sessions focus on each of the individual content areas. During the last session, a full-length practice SAT is given. Test scores are given to students along with the correct answers in order to help better prepare them for the actual test.

St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES offers the SAT/ACT Workshop to high-school juniors who plan to take the SAT and/or ACT this spring. Classes will be held at the St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES Educational Services Center, 40 West Main St., Canton, on seven Sundays starting March 5th. Workshop classes are 2.5 hours long and are offered on Sundays so students will have fewer conflicts with extra-curricular activities. This course includes practice for the new SAT as well as practice for the ACT. In addition, students may choose to participate in an optional class to prepare for the essay.

Registration forms and fee are due no later than February 10th.
