Welcome to our Polson High School Counseling website! We hope you will find the resources on our site to be helpful and informative.  Please reach out to us anytime with questions or concerns! The school counselors at Polson High School strive to support the academic, social/emotional, and career development of all students by collaborating with educators, parents, and community members.  


Attention Freshmen! The Polson Rotary Club will be sponsoring at least 2 Polson High School freshmen students to attend the 2018 Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) camp held at Luccock Park Camp near Livingston, MT, July 10-14, 2018.  Applications are due by March 30th. Pick up an application in the School Counseling Office.

SERVE Project Opportunity: For any students who enjoy working with kids - an organization in Polson called Child Bridge is looking for volunteers to help with child care the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 5:30-8:00pm at New Life Church.  Fore more information, please see Mrs. Wade in the Counseling Office.

Joint Science Education Project: For current Juniors at no cost. The Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth College has a grant from the National Science Foundation to fund high school student expeditions to Greenland and Antarctica - 3-week expeditions beginning late June and running through July.  Competitive applicants will have a strong interest in the NATURAL SCIENCES, a passion for LEARNING, a sense of ADVENTURE, and openness to other CULTURES.  For more information, see Mrs. Wade in the Counseling Office or visit their website http://dickey.dartmouth.edu/joint-science-education-project

INSPIRE Pre-College Program: For current Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors. July 1-20, 2018, at George Washington University in Washington, DC.  Students selected will receive full scholarships which cover the cost of room and board, airfare, textbooks, and a 3-credit course in Native Politics and the American Political System. Applicants must be able to provide proof of tribal enrollment or descendancy.  Application information is available in the Counseling Office.
