About Me

My name is Leann Wilson. This is my 19th year teaching in NC Public Schools and my eighteenth year teaching in Polk County. I am a native of Polk County and graduated from Polk County High in 2001. I attended Meredith College in Raleigh and graduated in 2005 with my elementary education teaching license and a bachelor's degree in psychology. Then I attended Converse College in Spartanburg, SC and graduated with my master's degree in elementary education. 

My husband and I live on a farm with cattle and 4 chicken houses through Case Farms. We love our children very much. We have a daughter, Kensie, who will turn 13 in October. We also have a son, Colton, who turned 9 in July. 

I truly love teaching and working with children. I feel very blessed to be part of such a great team of educators and to be able to work with the children of Polk Central.
