Emergency Preparedness Workshop

Two independent workshops - 0.3 CEUs each

Part 1 Planning - Wednesday October 28th

Part 2 Preparation, Training & Response - Wednesday November 4th

Both workshops run from 8:00 to 11:45 AM PDT

Part 1 Planning will include:

  • Water Utility Emergencies
  • Emergency Case Studies
  • Emergency Action Plan
  • Risk & Resilience
  • WARNs
  • Business & Operational Continuity

Part 2 Preparation, Training & Response will include:

  • Incident Command System
  • Public Outreach During Emergencies
  • Tabletop & Field Exercises, and Other Training
  • Personal Preparedness
  • Facility Physical Security
  • Cyber Security

Planned speakers will be:

0.3 CEUs each session (Pending) - Water & Wastewater!

  Cost for each session is $60 for AWWA, WEF, or PNCWA members and $120 for non-members.  

Golf Tournament: 
The 2020 Central WA Subsection Golf Tournament was cancelled due to COVID-19.  Information regarding the 2021 golf tournament will be sent in spring 2021!
