Company Director Peter Mooney's working background began in Commercial Radio in NZ where many skills were acquired - starting with Technician, and then moving on to Promtions Manager, Production Studio Manager, Breakfast Show Host, and Programme Director for market-dominant stations in 6 different centres around NZ.

Then came PM Event Management in 1999 - a company that successfully fund-raised, designed and managed the following events:

- Art Deco Trust's Mid-Winter Deco Decanted and Jazz Festival,
- NZ Registered Master Builders (Hawke's Bay) House of the Year Awards (7 years),
- Creative Napier Winter Arts Festival,
- Creative Napier Winter Fire Festival,
- Midwinter DIY Deco and Deco Winter Weekend
- Rugby World Cup 2011 in Hawke's Bay (Regional Coordinator),
- HB Jazz Club Big Band Overseas Concert Tours to Australia, Vanuatu (2), and Fiji.
plus a large number of other smaller community events such as the 100th celebrations of the King George Hall in Bay View and the dedication of HMNZS Rotoiti to its Home Port of Napier.

Around 20,000 people gather at Napier's Sound Shell each New Year's Eve to enjoy an evening's entertainment which culminates in the midnight "Airborne Thunder" fireworks display.
