How to prepare for camp:

-Get outside and get some exercise- marching band is a physical activity and it will be easier if yu start by being active before marching band starts.

-Play your instrument- you need to get back in playing shape as well!

-Make sure you get a good night's sleep and eat before coming to camp.

Dinners during camp:

We will do group dinners for students during marching band camp. Dinner will be at 5pm each day. Please see the Google Doc list and sign up for something that you can donate for the meals. This provides a good dinner for all students without parent having to pack food each day.

If your child has food allergies, please use your discretion on what to do for their meals.

When donating food, please keep in mind that there are several student with milk, wheat, peanut, tree nut and shellfish allergies. We will have a separate table to keep allergy-free foods away from other foods to prevent cross contamination, but please use your judgement.

We are also requesting two to three parents to help wth set up and cean up for each dinner.

Projects for Marching Band:

We are looking for some parent help with projects for the season. This includes building some props for the field, repairing some of the carts and instruments that are used on the field, uniform organization and fittings, and some sewing projects, such as costumes, uniforms, or flags.

We would love to get some of these projects done or at least started during camp.
