In Montana’s Developmental Disabilities Program, services are available at no cost for eligible individuals of any age. There are many kinds of services available. Currently, there are two ways to access these services: through community-based providers, and through self-direction. We will explain these options later. You need to know enough about these options to choose which ones are best for you. You will also want to know who provides the services, how they do business, who works for them, how their values fit with yours, and how you can best use their services. Don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions!
